The Cambridge Community Foundation’s Cambridge WINS sports equity sponsorships recognize and celebrate organizations that strengthen belonging and social cohesion in Cambridge through youth sports summer programming.  

We believe sports are a great equalizer. We strive to support organizations and coaches that are making a significant impact by providing sports opportunities for all Cambridge youth, including those who face barriers to access due to financial or other constraints. Sponsorships range from $500 to $1,000. CCF also sponsors Cambridge little leagues through its events sponsorship program.

Organizations and coaches interested in a Cambridge WINS sponsorship for Summer 2025 can apply online beginning May 30.

Review process

Cambridge WINS sponsorship decisions are made by a new 11-person volunteer advisory committee, which includes long-time coaches, Cambridge recreation staff, and civic leaders committed to supporting youth sports opportunities. Groups will be notified of sponsorship decisions by mid to late-June. 

CCF is grateful for donors like BB&N, who provided a grant to support Cambridge WINS sponsorships in 2025.  

Cambridge WINS history

Cambridge WINS was founded in spring of 2022 with advisors Matt Meyersohn and Joe Bradlee, Cambridge natives and sports enthusiasts, to support youth sports nonprofit organizations and coaches serving Cambridge youth who face barriers to access. To date, CCF has distributed $40,000 to 33 groups and individuals providing equitable access to summer sports.
