Sep. 13: Emerging Leaders Program – Cambridge Nonprofit Coalition

8-month professional development program for emerging leaders on staff at member organizations of the Cambridge Nonprofit Coalition. Executive Directors may nominate emerging leaders through September 13.

Sep. 27: Capital Infrastructure Grants – Cambridge Redevelopment Authority

This program funds the cost of capital infrastructure projects – up to $100,000 – including materials, project management, and labor to build, renovate, repair, or improve new or existing structures and open space amenities.

Sep. 27: Feasibility Study Grants – Cambridge Redevelopment Authority

Grants up to $10,000 to fund feasibility studies, which inform the process, design, and resources needed to complete a capital infrastructure project. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, until the deadline or all funds are allocated.

Oct. 16: Cambridge Arts Grants – Cambridge Arts

Three types of funding are available through this annual process:

  • Local Cultural Council Grants
    Up to $5,000 awarded to organizations or individuals for cultural projects, public art, ticket subsidy programs, cultural field trips for children, and other activities.
  • Art for Social Justice Grants
    $7,500 awarded for projects that present the themes and ongoing work of social justice to the Cambridge public through the arts.
  • Organizational Investment Grants
    $9,000 awarded for operational costs, sustainability, and resiliency to local cultural organizations that benefit Cambridge residents.
Sep. 30, 2026: Green Equipment for Cambridge Businesses ARPA Program – City of Cambridge

Up to $250,000 for energy-efficient equipment purchases for small businesses or non-profits that have a physical location in Cambridge and can demonstrate that they have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
