Megan and Mike Pesce at Dunkin’s Central grand opening with CCF Vice President of Philanthropic Partnerships Michal Rubin.

Last week, Central Square got a new coffee spot and Cambridge got a new champion with a $5K donation to the Cambridge Community Foundation (CCF).

Dunkin’ franchise owners Mark and Megan Pesce added their fifth Cambridge-based Dunkin’ to the corner of Mass Ave and Essex St and opening morning was buzzing, with coupons to the first 100 customers for 100 days of free coffee, and a big check to support the community.

“The community supports us and we need to support the community,” said Mark.

Megan said they chose to donate to CCF because, “We wanted to give where it would make the most impact and do the most good.”

Welcome to our new neighbors in Central Square. Thanks for making good with us, Mark and Megan!
