Dear neighbor,

I never imagined that we would be where we are today.

Last month, when SNAP benefits were in jeopardy, we saw fear and panic rise among our neighbors. We knew our neighbors were looking for help.

In response, CCF and the City of Cambridge jointly infused half a million dollars to help make sure our neighbors, especially children and seniors, wouldn’t go hungry. We quickly activated our donor and nonprofit communities to provide grocery store gift cards and more food for local pantries to meet the escalating need. Because of donors like you, CCF was where it needed to be when it was needed the most.

And proud as I am of our swift response – rooted in our relationships and the trust of our donors – we know there are more challenges coming and we need to be ready to respond. We cannot do that alone. That readiness takes all of us.

In CCF, Cambridge has a resource that can act nimbly and quickly now and in the future. We are committed to thinking outside the box with city government, nonprofits, the business sector, and our steadfast supporters to ensure our community remains a place where we can thrive together.

Your gift gives us the strength and flexibility to act when it matters most.

As the calendar year closes, please don’t miss your chance to renew your support for Cambridge today with a gift to our annual fund.

We are so thankful for donors like you who ensure we will always be here for everyone who calls Cambridge home.

Thank you for giving with a generous heart.

Donate here.

Sincerely,

Geeta Pradhan, President
