Dear neighbors,
Our 2025 annual report, Good in the Making, focuses on the people who are stepping up to make good happen in Cambridge and our role in moving that optimism, creativity, and possibility forward for our city’s well-being.
We bring this civic leadership to life through stories of our partners, donors, and supporters, and the stunning photography of Cantabrigian and photographer Mark Ostow.
What I love about this annual report is how it captures the truly special role that CCF plays:
As an optimistic partner willing to tackle hard problems that organizations in our city can’t solve on their own, working in deep partnership with government, nonprofits, residents and donors;
As a thought leader that advances understanding and activates solutions through research;
As an innovative thinker unafraid to make big bets for the community’s wellbeing;
As a fierce believer in the innovative minds in our community who are part of the solution;
As a convener of our nonprofits, donors, and residents who are critical partners in our work.
In a year when we all needed to feel hope, take action, and believe that the light would win over the dark, this report shares how CCF joined our community to harness vision, hope, and possibility and ignite our collective spirit for the common good.
I’m grateful to the staff, board, donors, and community partners who helped bring this report to life — and the many others whose stories are yet to be told.
This story is all of ours.
Lauren Marshall
Vice President of Marketing and Civic Engagement
